Web/Graphics Designer
Description:
Design innovative web sites and online marketing materials for a network of popular websites and leading-edge web applications. Put your design and creative expertise to the test in a environment where innovation and collaboration are prized.
Candidate must have a strong understanding of innovative UI, web design principles, and technology. Experience with dynamic content and web server technology. Professional demeanor; strong interpersonal, problem solving, communication, and time management skills. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Position Duties Include:
* Provide comprehensive graphic design in support of a variety of websites.
* Lead projects from inception to completion leveraging additional
resources as needed.
* Develop content, code, designs, and as well as manage specific projects.
* Prepare page and site designs according to departmental standards.
* Build web applications using Flash, XML, and JavaScript.
* Design new websites for both static and dynamic content.
* Maintain project workflow and timelines.
* Maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
* Maintain good communications with management and staff.
Minimum Required Background, Skills, and Abilities:
* 3-5 Years design, coding, and production experience.
* Proficiency in Flash, Action Script Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
* Hand coding HTML, CSS, ASP.
* Excellent UI design and client side scripting skills.
* Able to communicate new ideas and work as a team.
* Be a self-starter and work independently.
* Learn quickly and a real desire to expand their skills.
* Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent problem solving capability.
